AMC Theatres mobile app accepting Dogecoin, SHIB, and more
An American pro-crypto film theatre chain, AMC, has now updated its mobile application to accept Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and other crypto-assets as a mode of payment across the entire United States.
It had started accepting crypto payments back in November 2021 that helped the customers to buy movie tickets online by paying in crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ether, and Bitcoin Cash. The promise of including meme coins such as DOGE and SHIB was made by the CEO of the company long back in January 2022 which has finally come to fruition.

Brazilian Parliament heading towards crypto regulation
After many countries made a move to regulate crypto across the globe, Brazil has also taken its stance. A private member’s bill which seeks to regulate the Brazilian Crypto Market might get approved by the national Congress before the first half of this year comes to an end. The MPs are ready to undertake the Key vote on Tuesday this week.
According to Globo, congress expects that the bill shall be passed anytime before June. Crypto has always received a positive response from the Brazilian Senate given the acceptance of the last two bills.
