According to the official website, Clay Nation essentially is a collection comprising 10,000 digital characters with algorithmically assembled, handcrafted clay traits. Each unique character represents a one-of-a-kind NFT. These are stored on the Cardano blockchain.
The NFT Twitter is pissed because of Meta’s new 47.5% fee on Metaverse items! To clarify, the items Meta is selling aren’t nonfungible tokens. They’re more similar to the skins and animations that you could currently buy-in games like Fortnite. But the metaverse Meta is building is competing with crypto-native metaverses like Sandbox and Decentraland, where in-world items are owned as NFTs.

The hip hop mogul Calvin Broadus Jr a.k.a Snoop Dogg has shown his interest and collaborated with Clay Nation to launch his the new NFT collection with Cardano. Since revealing that he has been collecting NFTs under the alias Cozomo de’ Medici, Snoop Dogg’s adventures in the space remained confined to Ethereum. However, as Cardano slowly gained prominence, he is making a bet on the blockchain.

After 6 months since Facebook changed its name to Meta, on Monday, the company announced how it plans to monetize its Horizon Worlds metaverse app, currently accessible only through VR, initiating a testing phase that will allow some creators to sell in-world items to users.
