Snoop Dogg joins Web3 as a Co-Founder of ‘Shiller’

It is another day in the Web3 world that the news of a new app has come along! Today it is from the infamous rapper Snoop Dogg! Yes, after collaborating with Eminem and including BAYC NFTs in their music video, Snoop Dogg is now stepping up his game by entering to yet another Web3 partnership as the American rapper and actor has been revealed as a co-funder of a live streaming app; which will be called Shiller!

This Shiller app from Snoop Dogg has been described to be a live broadcast platform which is aiming to combine Web3 technology with real-time live-streaming contents. The technology entrepreneur Sam Jones is the other co-founder of the app along with the rap star.

Upon the release, Snoop Dogg commented, “I’m excited to partner with Sam to launch Shiller to the world. This app truly provides a platform for creators to reach their fans in unique ways and monetize their own content. The partnership for the launch of Shiller comes as a next step in the wave of Web3 partnerships that the american rapper Snoop Dogg has taken the chance to be a partner in from last year.

• Snoop Dogg partnered with Sandbox metaverse and launched an NFT collection that were called “Snoop Avatars” last April while also releasing a hip-hop single, which was titled A Hard Working Man. There was also a 50,000-piece NFT drop soon after the single came out.
• The rap star had partnered with Yuga Labs (the team that built the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and CryptoPunks) last year in August, during MTV’s Video Music Awards, and performed on a metaverse-transformed stage.
• According to a statement from Roobet earlier this month, Snoop Dogg has recently partnered with the crypto casino Roobet, where he is going to act as the firm’s “Chief Ganjaroo Officer,”.

According to the latest statement from Shiller this month, the app which was first stated to be released in January has been delayed till April for its release.
