Ondo Finance announced the rollout of Ondo tokenized portfolios under its new Intelligent Portfolios product suite on 24 September 2026, packaging institutional asset allocation models designed by BlackRock into single, transferable on-chain tokens. Following the product deployment, ONDO traded near $0.5714, posting a 34.45% weekly gain supported by $348.4 million in 24-hour spot volume, a 65.16% intraday turnover expansion. While the initiative represents a technical milestone in decentralized real-world asset (RWA) structuring, the governance token advancing on secondary markets possesses no direct claim over underlying management fees or protocol revenues.
Structuring On-Chain ONDO Intelligent Portfolios
Three tokens went live on 24 September. The deployment introduces three distinct tokenized multi-asset Ondo Intelligence portfolios:
- BLKHIon is Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock
- BLKDIGon is Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock
- BLKGRWon is Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock.
Each represents a full allocation rather than a single security, and each mints, redeems and transfers as one token across wallets, exchanges and DeFi applications.
BlackRock developed the three allocation strategies for Ondo and goes no further. Ondo implements them programmatically using Ondo Stocks, its tokenized equities and ETFs, and handles minting, redemption and rebalancing on a fixed schedule, with holdings visible onchain. Lisa O’Connor, BlackRock’s global head of model portfolio solutions, said Ondo finance tokenization “creates new ways for portfolio strategies to be delivered.”
Ondo Access Parameters
Access is limited to non-US investors in permitted jurisdictions, which puts the largest pool of retail brokerage money outside the product at launch. Ondo has not published minimum investment sizes or a fee schedule for the three portfolios.
Regulatory Boundaries
On 17 September, the SEC issued a temporary five-year exemption allowing Tokenized Securities Venues to trade tokenized NMS stock through permissioned automated market makers without registering as exchanges. It caps the symbols and volume a venue can trade.
That order governs US venues, and these portfolios are closed to US investors, so it is not what permits the launch. Ondo already runs tokenized US stocks and ETFs through Ondo Global Markets and tokenized treasuries through OUSG and USDY. A five-year federal carve-out for onchain equity trading turns a US version of this product into a policy question instead of a legal impossibility.
Technical Snapshot: Moving Averages and Order Book Depth

ONDO daily chart with EMA 20/50/100/200 and RSI 14. Source: TradingView.
ONDO has traded between $0.5566 and $0.5938 in the current daily session and is down 1.67%. The move has taken it above every candle of the past six months.
The 20-day EMA is at $0.4552 and the 50-day at $0.4053, both turning up with price. The 100-day at $0.3805 and the 200-day at $0.3821 sit within half a percent of each other, which is what six flat months look like on a chart. The price is 1.50 times the 200-day price. RSI 14 reads 73.49 against a signal line of 64.12, overbought but well short of the reading that marked the May top.
The liquidity-to-market-cap ratio is 0.08%, roughly $2.2 million of order book depth beneath a $2.78 billion market capitalization. Thin books move quickly in both directions.

ONDO Token Economics vs. Corporate Earnings
Market commentary frequently treats protocol token appreciation as an indirect proxy for enterprise revenue. However, ONDO functions strictly as a decentralized governance token within the Ondo DAO:
- Fee accrual: Asset management fees generated by Ondo’s tokenized treasuries (OUSG, USDY) and Intelligent Portfolios accrue to the corporate operating entity, Ondo Finance, Inc., rather than to the token treasury.
- Absence of yield or buybacks: The protocol contains no programmatic fee switch, token burn, or staking dividend mechanism directing cash flows to ONDO holders.
- Valuation multiples: With total value locked (TVL) across Ondo products at approximately $965.79 million, ONDO trades at a market-cap-to-TVL ratio of roughly 2.89x, alongside an unvested float of 5.14 billion tokens scheduled to unlock into the existing governance structure over the coming years.
ONDO Chain Corporate Governance: The Delaware Chancery Dispute
Founder Nathan Allman died on 25 May while serving as chief executive, sole director and controlling shareholder. His estate, represented by his mother Kathleen Allman, has filed in Delaware Chancery Court against Ian De Bode, the former president who took over as chief executive. The filings cover who lawfully controls the company and whether De Bode’s appointment followed the bylaws.
A court order lets De Bode run day-to-day operations while blocking major corporate changes until the case resolves. A report on 23 September said Ondo had been pitched to buyers after Allman’s death, which the company denied.
