11 Companies Form Canadian Web3 Council To Advocate For A Comprehensive Crypto Strategy
Aquanow, Axiom Zen, Chainsafe Systems, Dapper Labs, Ether Capital, ETHGlobal, Figment, Informal Systems, Ledn, Wealthsimple, and WonderFi Technologies are the first 11 members of the association. And advocates for the adoption of a clear regulatory framework for digital assets in Canada.
The group will aim to improve blockchain-related regulations that combine “innovation, consumer protection, and stability” by bringing together exchange platforms, blockchain projects, and tech investors.

Solana NFTs to Get a Boost with Upcoming OpenSea Support
OpenSea confirmed its plans to introduce support for Solana NFTs in a tweet, giving the platform’s 1.49 million users access to NFTs based on the Solana chain. After Ethereum, Polygon (MATIC), and Klaytn, Solana would be the third Layer 1 and fourth blockchain network supported by OpenSea if the proposal is carried out.
According to DappRadar, Magic Eden (40,500 users) is the most popular NFT marketplace on Solana, followed by Orca (26,080), and Raydium (14,080). (11,220). However, OpenSea’s approach may have an influence on the number of people who use these marketplaces.

Visa Program to Help Creatives Build Their Businesses With NFTs
The Visa Creator Program offers a one-year immersion into the world of NFTs, including technical and product mentorship, community building, access to thought leaders, exposure to Visa clients and partners, and a one-time stipend.
According to Visa, which cited data from Influencer Marketing Hub, the creative economy has a market worth more than $100 billion. Micah Johnson, a former Major League Baseball second baseman who debuted his NFT character, Aku, last year, is one of the first Creator Program participants.
