The Reserve Rights (RSR) price surge topped 66% in a matter of 15 minutes on October 12 after a major South Korean exchange listed it. The crypto token is still up 21.75% for the week at $0.002097, and a recent vote to burn more RSR coins adds a supply story to the listing spike.
Reserve Rights (RSR) is trading at $0.002097, up 21.75% over the week. Over the past 24 hours, though, RSR is down about 19%, after spiking on the listing news and then falling back.
What Drove the RSR Spike?
A major South Korean exchange opened RSR trading against the Korean won and USDT at around 14:05 KST on October 12. Within 15 minutes, RSR jumped more than 66% to about $0.0028 as buyers in a new market rushed in.

RSR Gave Back Much of Its Listing Gain
The RSR crypto rally slowed soon after the listing spike, and sellers pushed the price back down. RSR now trades about 25% below its listing-day peak, and over the day it moved between roughly $0.0016 and $0.0028.
Trading volume shows how much of the move came from fast money. About $236 million of RSR changed hands in the past day, roughly 1.8 times its entire market value. Listing spikes usually look like a burst of new buyers, followed by early holders taking profits.
What is RSR?
RSR is the governance token of Reserve, a platform for building tokenized index funds. Holders vote on how the platform runs, including how many RSR tokens are destroyed, or burned, each quarter.
On September 25, RSR holders reportedly voted for the highest setting on the platform’s quarterly burn scale. That setting increases the number of tokens burned and pauses treasury token releases for the quarter, so fewer new RSR enter the market.
That matters because a large share of RSR is not yet circulating. About 62.55 billion of the 100 billion tokens are in circulation, so the fully diluted value of about $209 million is roughly 60% higher than the market cap.
What RSR Traders Should Watch Next
The RSR market outlook now depends on two things. The first is volume. If trading falls back toward its pre-listing level and RSR holds above its pre-listing price of about $0.0017, the new Korean market may have added lasting demand. If price and volume fall together, the listing was a one-day event.
The second is the burn vote. If the higher burn rate and the pause on treasury releases are confirmed in Reserve’s quarterly data, RSR’s supply will grow more slowly than planned. That is a longer-term factor and is unlikely to move the price day to day.
