Nigeria Issues Crypto Asset Rules In A Move That Could Boost Adoption
Nigeria’s Securities Exchange Commission has published some new rules relating to the country’s issuance, exchange, and custody of digital assets. These rules came 20 months after the Commission initially issued a statement on how it would classify and treat digital assets. This development could be a step towards ultimately opening new doors for crypto usage in Nigeria, one of the leading countries for global crypto adoption.

Buy The Dip? Whales Add $1.2 Bln Bitcoin As Price Falls Below $30K
According to the whale Alert, over 43,600 Bitcoins have been added by whales in multiple transactions in the last 24 hours. In a bid to buy the dip, the three different transactions of whales buying 9.6K Bitcoins were recorded by the tracker.
Bitcoin whales saw the token’s latest dip as another buying opportunity, with chain data showing at least $1.2 billion BTC was accumulated as the token sank below $30,000 again.

Here’s why LUNA ‘is pumping’ days after total collapse
LUNA is a token developed alongside the algorithmic stablecoin TerraUSD (UST) by Terraform Labs to keep its peg of $1. Between May 9 and May 14, UST lost its value by 85% dropping from $1 to $0.15. The LUNA token crashed due to its link to UST which decoupled from the dollar earlier this week to collapse below one cent. As reported by Coingecko, LUNA was up 364% in the last 24 hours.
It can be assumed that the pump activity is due to difficulties in shorting LUNA considering that margin trading was suspended by major exchanges with no signs of relisting.
