Vitalik Buterin donates $5M ETH to aid Ukraine
As reported by the aid for Ukraine, Vitalik Buterin has donated $5M worth of ETH in early April. According to the reports, despite the large sum, Vitalik Buterin did not make any announcements during the transaction. This got linked to him by the Ethereum Name Service domain name “vitalik.eth” which was the origin of the transfer.
While one half directly went to Aid for Ukraine, the other half went to Unchain Fund which is a crypto charity initiative created by the activists within the blockchain community to provide humanitarian relief to Ukrainians.
