MicroStrategy buys $191M worth of Bitcoin
MicroStrategy is a business intelligence software company that also has been acquiring Bitcoin for quite some time now and has recently bought another set of 4167 BTCs worth $190.5 million. In an announcement made by the company on Tuesday, it made this purchase between February 15 and Monday. An average price of 445,714 was paid by the company for one bitcoin.
A total of 128,218 bitcoins are now held by the company valued at a total of $6 billion at the current price. According to various interviews by CEO Michael Saylor, the company wishes to hold BTC for a long time and has no plans of selling it.

Cardano foundation expands academic blockchain research with Zurich
The non-profit organization Cardano Foundation has announced a three-year collaboration with the Blockchain Center of the University of Zurich to initiate educational programs around the crypto sector. Under this partnership, the foundation shall be working with the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (BDLT) Group at the University. There the group will be dedicated to working on research-based topics such as the efficiency of consensus protocol and other blockchain-related topics.
