Chiliz launches public testnet for its new layer-1 blockchain
Chiliz, the digital asset sporting project, has announced the launch of the Scoville testnet for the newly established layer-1 blockchain network Chiliz Chain 2.0, also known as CC2. The blockchain will seek to advance the Web3 capabilities of high-profile sporting and entertainment firms to create nonfungible tokens (NFTs) and fan tokens, construct decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, and play-to-earn (P2E) games, as well as implement a range of programs and services for their community.

Renowned artists Snoop Dogg and Billy Ray Cyrus have teamed up to release a new single, “A Hard Working Man.” The hip-hop-country mashup will debut on April 2, 2022, during the Grammy weekend in Las Vegas.
Adding to the exciting debut, metaverse entertainment company Animal Concerts is hard at work developing a new 50,000-piece nonfungible token (NFT) drop to accompany the single. The decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol for routing trades, 1inch, has released a wallet for its Android users on Thursday. It is one of the largest decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregators, with a 24-hour trading volume of $309 million on Ethereum, according to Dune Analytics.
