Krafton the creators of Battleroyale game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) announced on Wednesday that it’s going to sign a business agreement with Solana Labs to create blockchain-based games.
Krafton has sought out Solana because it consumes less energy and two Google searchers and also consumes less energy than charging a smartphone. Krafton is continuously seeking ways to work closely with blockchain companies such as Solana as the world moves towards the Web3.0 ecosystem. Solana is one of the fastest blockchain systems with high speed and low fees.

Decentralized creator platform Joystream raised $5.8M
JoyStream, a Polkadot-based platform allowing creators to sell their videos as NFTs and turn the channels into tokens has raised $5.8 million. The investors who led this funding round were Hypersphere, D1 Ventures, Digital Currency Group (DCG), and DeFi alliance. According to Chief Marketing Officer Robert Neckelius, Joystream wishes to seek the status same as YouTube but in a decentralized fashion. Creators can mint their videos as NFTs on the Joystream blockchain and each channel has its own native token. Consumers can not just invest in their favorite creators’ success but also take profits from their NFT sales.
