Holo (HOT) advanced 53.4% over the trailing seven days to trade near $0.0005326 on November 4, 2026, lifting its circulating market capitalization to approximately $94.6 million.
The rally was accompanied by a 56% surge in 24-hour trading volume to $70.5 million, representing roughly 74% of the entire circulating float, following the official mainnet rollout of its long-anticipated HoloFuel network currency on November 1. While existing tokenholders can now redeem their ERC-20 HOT tokens for native HoloFuel at a 1:1 ratio, the structural terms of the migration establish a largely one-way redemption pipeline that secondary market participants must evaluate closely before chasing the breakout.
HoloFuel Currency Went Live on November 1
Holo opened the HoloFuel Network on November 1, according to its blog, and posted on X the next day: “It’s official: HoloFuel is now live.” HoloFuel is the currency of Holo’s network. Members can spend it on app hosting, AI chatbots, digital identity tools and other services from Holo’s partners, or pay each other directly.
HOT was originally issued as a placeholder token designed to be redeemable for HoloFuel upon launch. Recent notices to holders confirm the 1:1 redemption parity established during the initial token sale. Operations for the swap have been assigned to Net Zero FZC, which administers the process under a 90-day provisional license from the Zanzibar Digital Free Zone regulatory authority.
Why Swapping HOT Is a One-Way Street
HOT holders swap through the Unyt app in two steps. They first lock their HOT in a smart contract on Ethereum, which credits a matching balance to their Unyt account. They then swap that balance for HoloFuel at one HOT to one HoloFuel. The swap is voluntary, and locked HOT is not burned.
Swapping does not entitle holders to convert HoloFuel back to HOT, according to Net Zero’s swap guide. Only HoloFuel earned by providing services on the network, such as hosting, can be swapped back. Holders who have locked HOT but not yet swapped it can still move it back to Ethereum.
The one-for-one rate applies for at least six months from November 1, and Net Zero says it will give 60 days’ notice before closing the swap or changing the rate. Every HoloFuel member must verify their identity with a government photo ID and a face scan. Only HOT on Ethereum’s main network can be used.
What the HoloFuel Swap Means for HOT Holders and Traders
HOT swapped for HoloFuel stays locked in the Ethereum contract and leaves exchange trading. Locked HOT is released only when HoloFuel earned from network services is swapped back. Holo has not published how much HOT has been swapped so far.
Futures bets on HOT have also grown. Open interest, the value of open futures positions, rose to about $9.4 million from $2 million to $3 million at its October lows, according to Coinglass data cited by Coin Edition.
HOT’s order books are thin. Its liquidity, meaning the amount that can trade without moving the price much, is 0.07% of market cap, so large orders can shift HOT’s price sharply. All 177.6 billion HOT already circulate, according to CoinMarketCap, which lists no maximum supply.
Where Holo (HOT) Stands After the HoloFuel Launch
HOT trades near $0.0005326, remaining approximately 98% below its April 2021 all-time peak of $0.03157. The 1:1 swap window will remain accessible through at least May 2027, backed by Net Zero’s 60-day notice requirement before any termination.

FAQs
1. Why is Holo (HOT) up this week?
Holo (HOT) gained 53.4% over the trailing seven days to trade near $0.0005326 following the official November 1, 2026 deployment of HoloFuel, the native currency of the Holo hosting network. The release enabled tokenholders to initiate 1:1 migrations from ERC-20 HOT to HoloFuel, sparking an increase in trading volume and derivatives open interest.
2. What is Holo (HOT)?
Holo is a decentralized peer-to-peer cloud hosting ecosystem powered by Holochain that enables distributed application hosting without traditional blockchain consensus. HOT is the project's circulating ERC-20 token, originally issued as a placeholder redeemable for HoloFuel, which hosts earn for sharing computing capacity.
3. Can HoloFuel be swapped back to HOT?
Generally, no. Standard tokenholders who convert HOT into HoloFuel cannot reverse the process. Under the operating terms set by Net Zero FZC, only HoloFuel earned by providing active hosting infrastructure or verified services to the network is eligible for reverse redemption into ERC-20 HOT.
4. Is Holo (HOT) a good investment?
Whether Holo (HOT) is a good investment depends on individual risk tolerance and trading objectives. While the launch of HoloFuel delivers a foundational technical milestone, HOT remains down roughly 98% from its April 2021 peak of $0.03157, exhibits thin order-book depth (0.07%), and faces asymmetric liquidity risks due to the one-way nature of the holder token swap.
