The Render platform allows users to help monetize their idle computing power. WHO ARE THE FOUNDERS OF RENDER (RNDR)?
Jules Urbach is the founder of Render token and CEO of Otoy. Urbach holds 15 years of experience in computer graphics, streaming and 3D rendering. He made his first 3D game at a tender age of 18 and licensed it to Macromedia, Disney, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, Microsoft, Hasbro and AT&T. HOW DOES RENDER (RNDR) WORK?
Render token works on a simple peer to peer system. The concept used by Render is automatic proof of work in which a content creator/ owner sends over a video to the node operator (the participant who runs the video on his or her behalf) Until the rendering is successful, the content uploaded will have a watermark. Upon confirmation of the creator’s successful video rendering the tokens (payment for rendering service) will be released to the node operator for its service. Once both parties confirm that the rendering is successful, the watermark will be removed from the rendered video asset.

Distributed GPU Rendering: This is the north star of the Render platform. Node operators sign up on Render and connect their nodes to the network. Users lend their computing power and earn in RNDR tokens.
