AKEDO spiked toward $0.0385 on a volume surge above 900%, then gave most of it back and now trades down 22.7% on the session. The money came in through futures while spot barely moved, and price still sits 40% above its 20-day average. Three checks matter before chasing it.
AKE Crypto Price Today After the Spike and Reversal

3 Checklist Steps AKE Traders Must Do First
A 900% volume jump reads like demand until you check three things: where that volume actually traded, how much of the supply is circulating, and how much is still due to unlock.
1: The Rally Is Running on Futures, Not Spot
AKEDO futures volume reached $360.77 million over 24 hours against $10.29 million in spot. About 35 dollars traded in derivatives for every dollar traded in the token itself.
Open interest sits at $124.87 million, or 44% of the token’s market value. Only $1.06 million was liquidated over the same 24 hours, so shorts were not squeezed out. Traders opened these positions deliberately, and they can close them just as fast.
2: Supply Concentration and Thin Liquidity
Only 22.79 billion of a 100 billion maximum supply circulates, so a fully diluted valuation stands near $1.28 billion against a market capitalization of $283.63 million.
Ownership is heavily clustered as well, with analysts flagging an extreme concentration score across top wallets and a liquidity-to-market-cap ratio near 1.8%, so a few holders can move the AKEDO token price. On 17 August, on-chain analyst EmberCN said wallets active in another low-cap token were also trading AKE, which rose roughly 52 times in a month. Nothing is confirmed, but the concern is documented.
3: The Unlock Schedule Still Ahead
AKEDO has 31.5 billion tokens releasing on a linear schedule to 2029, roughly 138% of the float in circulation today.
A tranche of 2.11 billion AKE worth about $17.57 million unlocked on 21 August. Investor and early-contributor allocations account for 25% and 15% of supply.
AKE Sits 40% Above Its 20-Day Average

The trend structure is intact, with the 20, 50, 100 and 200-day exponential moving averages at $0.0091, $0.0066, $0.0044 and $0.0028, stacked in ascending order and price above all four. What that hides is distance, because even after a 22.7% fall AKE sits 40% above its 20-day average and 360% above the 200-day.
The 14-day RSI has cooled to 61.23, almost exactly on its own moving average at 61.17, after peaking above 85 in August. That leaves momentum in neutral territory.
The session high at $0.0167 is the first ceiling, the session low at $0.0125 is immediate support, and below that sits the 20-day EMA at $0.0091, about 29% under spot.
What AKE Traders Should Watch Next
AKE has already fallen 22.7% once this week as leveraged positions closed. Real buyers would show up as spot volume rising toward futures volume. Until then, $0.0125 is the session low to hold, and 31.5 billion tokens are still waiting to unlock.
