AKEDO gained 19.7% over the trailing 24 hours to reach $0.03214 on 16 October 2026, advancing 21.5% over the past seven days despite the absence of an official project catalyst. The move pushed the token’s circulating market capitalization to $733 million, accompanied by a 341% spike in daily trading volume to $45.2 million. However, this AKEDO (AKE) crypto surge arrives five days ahead of a scheduled monthly vesting release that will add approximately 2.11 billion tokens to the secondary float on 21 October.
Reason Driving the AKE crypto rally
The sudden rebound occurred without any formal announcements, strategic partnerships, or software releases from the core developer team. Market activity instead shows a speculative volume bounce following a multi-week drawdown: AKE remains down approximately 77% from its all-time peak of $0.1426 established on 20 September 2026.
How the AKE Token Works
Users pay AKE to create and publish games on AKEDO, at $0.10 per prompt and $10 per published game, according to the project’s whitepaper. Holders can also stake AKE, which means locking it on the platform, to earn a share of its fees. AKEDO sends 33% of these fees to stakers and burns another 33%, permanently removing those tokens from supply. The remaining third goes to the platform as revenue.
AKE’s Supply Schedule and Vesting Dynamics
The primary structural risk facing the token is an extensive vesting schedule: only 22.8 billion of the 100-billion maximum supply are in circulation, giving AKEDO a fully diluted valuation of $3.21 billion that sits roughly 4.4 times higher than its circulating market capitalization.
Programmatic emissions unlock on the 21st of every month through August 2029, according to data from Tokenomics.com. The upcoming 21 October release introduces roughly 2.11 billion tokens, valued near $68 million at current prices, or roughly 9.25% of the existing circulating float. Insiders and early backers dominate this distribution: private investors receive 47% of the tranche, while early contributors and advisors account for 22%, leaving community allocations with the remaining 31%.
Past distributions triggered immediate market pullbacks. Spot prices fell as much as 22% within seven days of the 21 August unlock and retreated up to 46% within five days of the 21 September unlock.
