Whether you’re filing your ITR, handing off records to a chartered accountant, or simply reviewing your trading activity — your CoinDCX trade report is the one document that captures everything. Here’s how to get it, and a clear breakdown of what you’ll find inside.
Part 1: How to download your trade report
1) Open the app and tap your profile icon
Launch the CoinDCX app. Tap your profile or account icon in the top-right corner of the home screen to open your account menu.
2) Go to Generate Report
In the account menu, scroll down to find the Reports section and tap it.
Profile > Generate Reports
3) Select Trade Report
Under Reports, tap Trade Report. This is separate from the Tax Report — the trade report gives you the raw transaction data.

4) Choose Duration
Select the duration you need – Financial Year & Quarter . For tax filing, choose the relevant financial year For Eg: Financial Year 2025 – 2026 – From Q1 to Q4 and click on Generate

5) Click on Generate
Tap Continue and the file will be sent to your registered email as a xlsx file.
6) Search Email
Your report arrives with the subject “Trade Report of Your CoinDCX Account” attached with a .xslx file. Open it in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool to view and sort your trades.
Also available: if you need a pre-calculated tax summary (not just raw trade data), go to Profile → Tax Report with KoinX. It uses your trade history to compute your tax liability automatically.
Part 2: What your trade report contains
Your CoinDCX trade report covers various segments — each shown as a separate sheet in the downloaded file based on your trading history. (For Eg: Instant Orders, Spot Orders, Futures (INR-M), Futures (USDT-M), Options (INR-M) etc. )
Transaction ID
Unique UUID for each trade. Use this to raise a dispute with support.
Crypto
The asset traded — e.g. BTC, TLM, USDT.
Transaction time
Exact date and timestamp the order was executed.
Side (Buy / Sell)
Whether you bought or sold the asset in this transaction.
Avg Price (INR)
The average price per unit at which the order was filled, in INR.
Quantity
Number of units of the asset bought or sold.
Gross Amount (INR)
Total value before fees — price × quantity.
Fees (INR)
Platform trading fee charged on the order.
Net Amount (INR)
What you actually paid or received after fees. Buy: Gross + Fee. Sell: Gross − Fee.
TDS (INR)
1% TDS deducted on sell orders only. Blank for buy orders. Does not affect P&L — claimable during ITR filing.
For tax filing: Your CA or tax software will need the date, trade type, price per unit, quantity, and fees from each row to calculate your capital gains accurately under the 30% flat tax rate applicable to VDAs in India.

Q1. What is a Trade Report?
A Trade Report is a detailed record of your trading activity on CoinDCX. It includes transactions across various products such as Spot Trading, Insta, Futures, Options, Global Futures and Web3 Transactions.
The report helps you review your order history, executed trades, fees, TDS deductions, and other transaction details for a selected period.
Q2. How can I download my Trade Report?
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the CoinDCX App.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Generate Reports.
- Click on the Trade Report.
- Choose the Financial Year and Quarter.
- Submit your request.
The report will be sent to your registered email address, typically within 4 hours.
Q3. What details are included in the Trade Report?
Your Trade Report may include Trading Pair, Order Type (Buy/Sell), Executed Quantity, Average Price, Trading Fees Paid, TDS Deducted, Transaction Value, Base and Quote Currency Details & Trade Execution Information
Q4. Which products are covered in the Trade Report?
The Trade Report includes transactions from Spot Trading, Insta, Futures, Options, Global Futures & Web3 Transactions
Q5. How can I download my TDS Certificate?
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the CoinDCX App.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Generate Reports.
- Click on TDS Certificate.
- Choose the required Financial Year.
- Download the certificate for the desired quarter in PDF format.
Q6. When will my TDS Certificate be available?
TDS Certificate will be available from 30th June onwards for the Financial Year 2025-26. But from next financial year 2026-27, TDS Certificates are made available on a quarterly basis. For example:
- Q1 (April–June) → Available from 30th September onwards
- Q2 (July–September) → Available from 31st December onwards
- Q3 (October–December) → Available from 31st March onwards
- Q4 (January–March) → Available from 30th June onwards
Please note that availability may vary based on government filing timelines.
Q7. How can I download the TDS Summary Report?
- Log in to the CoinDCX App.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Generate Reports.
- Click on TDS Summary Report.
- Choose the required Financial Year.
- Download the Summary Report in Excel format.
Q8. What is Form 16A?
Form 16A is a TDS certificate issued by CoinDCX that shows the TDS deducted and deposited with the Government of India on your behalf. The certificate is generated quarter-wise and can be used while filing your Income Tax Return (ITR).
Q9. How can I generate a Tax Report for ITR filing?
CoinDCX does not directly provide a consolidated Tax Report for ITR filing. However, CoinDCX has partnered with KoinX to help users generate tax reports. To access it:
- Log in to the CoinDCX App.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Generate Tax Report with KoinX.
- Click Generate Tax Report.
- You will be redirected to KoinX, where you can generate and download your tax report.
Q10. How can I get my Profit & Loss (P&L) statement?
CoinDCX does not currently provide a separate Profit & Loss (P&L) statement. You may use the Tax Report generated through KoinX to review your gains, losses, and estimated tax liability.
Q11. Can CoinDCX provide my Tax Report in Excel or PDF format?
Tax Reports are generated through KoinX. The available download formats and report options are determined by KoinX and may vary based on the report type selected.
Q12. Will CoinDCX automatically handle all my tax payments?
No. CoinDCX only provides transaction records, TDS certificates, and access to tax reporting tools. Users remain responsible for calculating, reporting, and paying any applicable taxes while filing their Income Tax Returns – ITR. For tax-related advice, we recommend consulting a Chartered Accountant – CA or qualified tax professional.
