It is another day in the crypto land where the crypto enthusiasts have another project to get excited about! The infamous Bored Ape Yacht Club, famous for their Bored Ape NFTs, have announced that they are coming out with the first Bitcoin NFT Project! The collection is being named as TwelveFold. It is a limited series of only 300 generative Ordinals NFT art pieces that are inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain, that are set to be auctioned later this week.
This launch is one of the big profile launches to date via the Ordinals platform. The platform is recently launched which gives way to committing artwork and media to Bitcoin by helping to permanently attach each other to an individual Satoshi, or 1/100,000,000 of a full Bitcoin.
Did You Know? The Ordinal Inscriptions, which are similar to NFTs, are digital assets that are inscribed on a satoshi, which is the lowest denomination of a Bitcoin (BTC).

There is yet another difference that the new collection has with respect to Yuga lab’s previous projects. The TwelveFold collection stands apart in terms of size of the NFT collection. Previously, all other Yuga-owned collections had about 10,000 or more NFTs, whereas TwelveFold will consist of only 300 pieces. However, it is closer in approach to the Autoglyphs collection. It was an influential Larva Labs generative art project based on the Ethereum blockchain only, and it spanned to just 512 NFTs.
