Gucci Opens Shop in Metaverse via Sandbox
According to a report shared by The Sandbox, Gucci vault, is preparing a virtual world of its online concept store within The Sandbox game. People can easily buy a selected few Gucci fashion items and use them in their own Sandbox experience.
Gucci in its latest tweet mentioned that it is crafting the future of its virtual presence within the metaverse. Few reports also suggest that Gucci has purchased an undisclosed amount of land in The Sandbox and is trying to create an interactive fashion experience based on Gucci Vault which shall be in collaboration with The Sandbox. It has also joined the long list of brands like Adidas, H&M, Nike, etc in building its virtual presence within the metaverse.

FarmVille Developer set to release first NFT game
The San Francisco-based game developer Zynga who is best known for the development of FarmVille and CSR racing series has announced its plans to release its first-ever NFT game this year.
The first mark was made by this billion-dollar game studio last year after it appointed the 30-year gaming industry veteran Matt Wolf as their VP of Blockchain gaming. Zynga has also announced that it will increase its current blockchain gaming team which currently consists of 15 members to up to 100 by the end of this year. The firm has its NFT based gaming plans ready with Axios, and also said that forthcoming blockchain-based games shall be brand new titles and shall not be an add-on to the existing games like FarmVille.

McDonald’s files trademark for Mcmetaverse restaurants
Although the golden arches made fun of crypto in the previous month, the fast-food giant McDonald’s finally embraced the metaverse by applying for the trademark of its brand within the virtual world. McDonald’s is all decked up to make its move into the metaverse and has registered 110 trademarks already within the virtual space. According to the latest tweet by Josh Gerben, a trademark attorney as well as the founder of Gerben Intellectual property, confirmed that McDonald’s is ready to feature actual as well as virtual goods which shall also have a virtual restaurant doing home delivery. Based on the application the multimedia chain shall also provide downloadable files such as artwork, video files, audio files as well as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
