Opera eyes Polygon for its next mobile wallet Integration
Opera, the famous Norwegian web browser developer is all ready to support transactions using Polygon MATIC from quarter 1 of 2022. Opera is in talks with Polygon MATIC to add it to its native digital wallet in the first quarter of 2022. This would help opera extend its reach into Ethereum’s layer 2. Polygon shall become Opera’s first supporting layer 2 tokens. What does it hold for MATIC? Being in Opera’s native wallet will imply that users shall have better and seamless access to the realm.

Arcade raises $15 million to offer NFT-backed loans
Arcade has raised a whopping sum of $15 million in its series A funding for its collateralized lending system. This will connect the expanding non-fungible token (NFT) space to Decentralized finance (DeFi).
This funding shall be utilized in building products and looking for human resources for legal and other purposes that will help Arcade navigate the regulatory landscape. some of the investors present during the fundraise were Pantera Capital, BlockFi CEO Zac Prince, Castle Island ventures, Quantstamp CEO Richard Ma, and Franklin Templeton.

Cricketer Rohit Sharma joins the NFT train to launch his collection on FanCraze
Rohit Sharma partners with FanCraze to launch cricket memorabilia in the form of NFT. It will include NFTs of famous videos from the 2019 ICC World Cup and shall also include some of the cricketer’s scores of 150 or more. FanCraze is looking forward to creating a new model of athlete-fan collection and has agreed to an agreement with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for a 3-year use of ICC’s collection of audio as well as video materials. Some of the materials will date back to 1975.
