According to DeFi Llama Terra (LUNA’s), TVL is ahead of the Binance Smart Chain ($16.9 billion) and that of an avalanche which stands at ($12.68 billion).

Blockchain industry’s 50% usage comes from games
Wondering what is the leading category in the blockchain industry? Well, it’s none other than blockchain gaming. With more than 1.4 million Unique active wallets becoming a part of the blockchain games every day, it has surpassed DeFi. This was recently released in a report to the BGA Blockchain Game Report 2021 by DappRadar.
While gaming DApps were responsible for 48% of the total blockchain industry usage, NFTs recorded a trading volume of $4.5 billion resulting in 20% of the year’s total NFT sales.
Quarter 2 saw a surge in activity around GameFi and plat-to-earn dapps the real explosion was seen in August when blockchain games surpassed DeFi as the most-used category within the industry.

Dfinity’s Internet Computer opens Ethereum Bridge
Now, Ethereum-based assets can natively exist on Internet Computer with the help of a new cross-chain bridge. The new cross-chain bridge that connects Ethereum with Internet Computer will let ERC-20 tokens exist natively on the latter’s network. It was revealed by the developers behind the bridge.
The bridge is known as Terabithia and allows cross-chain contract communication, transfer as well as monitoring of assets across different chains. It has been developed on a forked version of Ethereum called StarkWare that allows contracts on both the chains to communicate and mirror.
