Decentralized exchanges saw more than $1 trillion in trading volume
According to reports from Decentralized exchanges across the crypto market, there has been an increment in the trading volume by more than $1 trillion in 2021.
This is a huge figure as there has been an increment of 858% since the previous year of 2020. These data are based on a report generated on December 23. The amount facilitated by DEXs in the previous year was more than $115 billion. The overall monthly trading volume increased in May 2021 to $162.8 billion. According to The Block’s Research’s Digital Asset Outlook report, the most considerable month-to-month growth was seen in January by 137.3%.

Telegram verified payment bots shall accept Toncoin cryptocurrency
Telegram Co-founder CEO Pavel Durov has expressed his excitement regarding Telegram Open Network (TON) which is being resumed after Telegram officially abandoned the project last year.
According to Durov’s Telegram post, TOM is way ahead of its blockchain peers when it comes to scalability as well as speed. However, there has been rebranding around the project and will now be called Toncoin. It is also independent of Telegram, unlike the previous project.

Facebook’s Meta ready to explore NFTs and DAOs in 2022
Meta’s CTO presented a new plan for the Social networking sites’ blockchain adoption. He is reportedly inclined towards deep compatibility blockchain technology. In one of his notes to employees, he laid out the vision for the social networking site to adapt and work with different blockchain as well as crypto technologies.
