CurrencyCloud is a company that provides foreign exchange solutions to banks as well as fintech companies for cross-border exchanges. This comes after Visa announced its partnership with 60 crypto platforms across the globe for its new card program.

MATIC achieves an all-time high after Uniswap launches on Polygon

It was on Wednesday that the decentralized exchange Uniswap and the Ethereum scaling platform Polygon declared the launch of Uniswap version 3 on the polygon mainnet. This deployment came a few days later when the UNI holders decided to vote in favor of the decision. The prices of both UNI and MATIC saw a rise in value with MATIC reaching new ATH. 

MATIC hit an all-time high of $2.73 on Thursday. The borderless and dynamic ecosystem brought in by ethereum led to increased usage as well as fees on the Ethereum Layer 1. According to Mihailo Bjelic, co-founder of Polygon, the polygon version of Uniswap aims to bring in a change in the same.

Terra Network(LUNA) TVL attains an ATH of $20 billion surpassing BSC

This year has been full of LUNA-r eclipses! All the major cryptocurrencies have surely been overshadowed by the amazing performance of Terra LUNA this year. It is a popular open-source stablecoin network that has recently broken all its past records and now has surpassed $20 billion TVL across its DeFi protocols.

According to the data from DeFi Llama, this TVL started ramping up for LUNA in late November and early December. This is more than in value that is currently locked on Binance smart chain (BSC). The TVL for BSC is under $17billion. Terra LUNA has now become the second-highest TVL among all networks listed on DeFi Llama.

Visa acquires Ripple Partner CurrencyCloud at $925M

Visa has been in news with its crypto-related projects recently. It recently partnered with 60 crypto platforms for its new card program and here it is again completing the acquisition of CurrencyCloud for $925 million. CurrencyCloud is a platform that provides foreign exchange solutions for cross-border payments to fintech companies as well as banks. 

Although the news came in way late, the actual deal was signed in July 2021. The same news was confirmed by CurrencyCloud via their Twitter handle. The primary focus of this partnership is to process cross-border payments with the help of RippleNet with which CurrencyCloud partnered in July 2020.
